John and Kendra Smiley are popular speakers and authors leading marriage and parenting seminars nationally and internationally.  They have co-authored three books – Journey of a Strong-Willed Child, Be the Parent, and Do Your Kids a Favor. Love Your Spouse. In addition, they have a monthly column, Home Front, in Prairie Farmer magazine.

Named the, Illinois Mother of the Year in 2001, Kendra hosts a daily radio show, Live Life Intentionally, heard coast to coast on over 350 stations and featuring John as a weekly guest.

John is a retired USAFR pilot, flying a KC-135 for 30 years.  He retired as Colonel Smiley, the Vice-Wing Commander of Grissom Air Reserve Base in Indiana. After retirement, he took over the family farming operation.

The Smiley’s live on a farm in central Illinois. They are the parents of three married sons and have 10 grandchildren ages 9 and younger.

 My husband and I were delighted to have the opportunity to hear Kendra and John Smiley speak at a conference.  Their message was exactly what we needed to hear. They shared life observations, wisdom, and the practical truth of God’s word in a fresh, fun way. Because they communicate in such a down-to-earth yet captivating manner, the time flew by and we walked out refreshed and inspired!
